I was on the honor roll, took a bunchMar 29 2014Psychology
I was on the honor roll, took a bunch of ap courses, had a decent SAT score, and was in a couple clubs and they let me in.
SAT: 1980 Female
If you want to get in to Tech, your GPA must be 4Feb 09 2014Mechanical Engineering
If you want to get in to Tech, your GPA must be 4.0+ and your SAT's should probably be above 2000. If you don't have these numbers I would hope that your a girl applying for the School of Aerospace Engineering simply because they need girls in that dept.
ACT: 29 SAT: 1900 Male
I destroyed highschoolJun 07 2012Computer Science
I destroyed highschool. Just be awesome.
SAT: 1490 Male
Just get the SAT score over 1400Apr 18 2012Electrical Engineering
Just get the SAT score over 1400. It is very easy to get in. If you cannot get in in the first year, go to a technical school and transfer in. They accept almost all international and out of state students because these people pay $26000 to institute and entities in a semester.
SAT: 1450 Male
First off grades are very importantJan 24 2012Mechanical Engineering
First off grades are very important. I feel Tech is also looking for students that are well rounded too. I don't think they want the super kid who did every club in High School, but doesn't actually have a passion for anything. They look more for someone who may have played a sport or been on a robotics team and actually shows passion and commitment towards that activity. The school also seems to be trying to break its nerd image with every incoming freshman class being smarter, but also less nerdy than the last.
